Java Programmer / Developer

CipherSoft Inc. is currently in the process of expanding its Software Development Team in Calgary. We are presently recruiting for a Junior/Intermediate Java Developer to join our development team.

Must have Technical Skills:
  • Solid understanding of Object Orientation principals and concepts, architecture, design and development and best practices.
  • 1/2 years experience with Java/J2EE based development. Experience working with multi-tier systems and application architectures.
  • Familiar with Application Servers, MVC, Web servers and Relational Databases.
Nice to have Technical Skills:
  • Working or academic expertise of Oracle Forms and PL/SQL
Soft Skills:
  • Motivated Self Starter, Creative Thinker

Client Services Representative

We are currently seeking a hardworking, fun-loving, talented Client Services Representative (CSR) to join our Client Services team! This is a hands-on role and requires the chosen candidate to quickly take ownership of important product responsibilities and client relationships.

Responsibilities include:
  • Team member migrating Oracle forms (running tools, testing applications)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application errors
  • Providing help desk support to our existing clients
  • Packaging and distributing software deliveries to clients
  • Installing and configuring software for our internal clients
  • Demonstrating products and evaluation conversions to potential clients
  • Reporting and documenting product bugs and enhancements
  • Formal end user training
  • Other duties as requested
Must Have Experience and Attitude:
  • A keen desire to interact with people (team members and clients) and to excel in the eyes of the clients
  • Great communications skills, oral and written, with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Team player with ability to work in a dynamic, growing company
  • A curious mind that enjoys trouble shooting and problem resolution
  • Working experience with Java (the ability to analyze code, debug, modify and enhance)
  • Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, and Oracle Application Server (and other application servers) in respect to deployment, trouble shooting, installation and environment

Oracle Forms Programmer / Developer

Description:
